BILL JACKSON

Bill Jackson is a highly experienced educator with more than 30 years of experience in the classroom.
He has served as a teacher, math coach, and academic director and is known for his expertise in implementing Singapore Math, Japanese mathematics, and Lesson Study.
Bill is also the lead author of several math textbooks that use Singapore Math and Japanese Math approaches, and he provides professional development for teachers across the United States and around the world.
MAKOTO YOSHIDA

Makoto Yoshida, Ph.D., is an expert on Lesson Study, a professional learning approach that focuses on teacher's math content knowledge, improvement of teaching, and student learning.
His research on lesson study in Japan has introduced this approach worldwide. He has experience teaching and translating Japanese math textbooks into English.
As the former President of the Association of Mathematics Teachers of New Jersey, he is passionate about helping young students learn math skills with understanding enjoyment.
